Fun Palace, Telegraph Hill Centre, London UK

Last Saturday afternoon we spent at one of the Fun Palaces that took place at Telegraph Hill Centre in London.

Sharon, Juliet, Emilia, Veronica, Ava, Bev, Steven, Michela, Dulce and Kina joined us and we made 13 dolls together.

It was beautiful to see parents meditating with their kids.

Ava and Emilia decided to travel through our dreams putting their faces on them, that’s a first!

‘It was lovely to take time out and create, be part of a much larger project Dreams and a Heart. It was much more meditative than I expected. I really enjoyed the opportunity to step out of my mundane life and be reminded of artistic expressions. Thank you for the opportunity.’

‘I really enjoyed ‘dreams and a heart’, it gave me the opportunity to sit and focus on a slow paced activity in a world that is always so chaotic and fast paced. It was lovely to just have chat while working on the doll. Thank you Regina!’

‘Dream it on!’

‘This doll of so many dreams unknown. I hope they are all good ones.’

‘I enjoyed kneading and rolling the stuffing into place. Getting the corners full took work! After ‘losing my heart’ many times, I finally got it in place, with a little help! Great fun.’

‘I really loved making dolls with you.’

‘A really lovely bonding experience with my daughter and a group of strangers. Thank you.’

‘Today has been a great experience for me making a doll at the Fun Palace. I have been able to block out my troubles and this has helped me to feel calm, focused on making my doll and not worrying about challenging things. I have enjoyed the meditation and for the very first time in my life I felt my heart’s pulse. It is important to feel your heart and be appreciative that ‘it beats’. Heart means a lot. I am Alive. Thank you Dreams and a Heart for this opportunity.’

Thank you so much Sue for the invitation and for all lovely makers with their joyful vibe. We really appreciated our time together with good conversations and lots of fun.  It was the 4th time we were in a Fun Palace, I hope there will be many more. We love Fun Palaces!!!
